Playtech has launched a slot game that I absolutely love playing. It is called Ghosts of Christmas Slots and is based on "A Christmas Carol." For those of you who enjoy this movie, you have got to play this 3D game. It is filled with fabulous features and provides a lucrative and entertaining experience in slot play. Now don't let that scare you away from playing this game because for $1 or $20 per spin, I won more than $3000! I do advise that you read the pay table because there are so many bonus features; you want to know about all of them before you begin play. Another feature I absolutely love is besides the introduction, which is beautifully animated, you'll find Ebenezer sitting to the left of the slot machine. At his feet is the Info tab which will take you to the pay table. He jumps out of his chair with every win, and not to give too much away, but watch what he does when the ghost of Marley appears.
Past, Present, and Future
As you know, Scrooge is visited by three ghosts. Well in this slot game, the Ghost of Christmas Past is a small blonde child; Santa plays the Ghost of Christmas Present; and the Ghost of things to come is the same hooded man you saw in the movie. Tiny Tim also makes an appearance. And there are only three cards in this game, Ace, King, and Queen. Scrooge is the wild symbol and substitutes for all other symbols except the Clock and Marley. If you get all five Scrooge symbols on a pay line, you will win 10,000xs your trigger bet. Marley is the scatter symbol and when he appears three or more times, the free spins round is activated. Also note that he pays up to 500xs your bet when all five of his symbols appear. The Clock is the bonus symbol, and when three or more appear, The Ghosts of Christmas Bonus commences.
Marley's Free Spins Round
When Marley appears three or more times, the screen completely changes into an all green background. Here, you will see three pictures of Marley. You will be asked to choose one. The one you select will give you the number of free spins won along with its multiplier. You can win up to 15 free spins with a 3xs multiplier. Tip: Don't touch the Spin button at this point as it will automatically begin the free spins round.
The Ghosts of Christmas Bonus
This is perhaps my favorite part of the slot game. When three or more Clock symbols appear, you will be taken to a second screen where the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, or Future will appear. There will be five items in each screen, and the number you get to select will be based on the number of Clock symbols you generate. So, for Christmas Past you will choose among five books on classroom desks; for Christmas Present, you will choose among five presents; and for Christmas Future, you will choose among five graves. All have different colors, and all have high values. After you make your selection, the doors will close and you will be awarded the total value of the tokens. Note: Depending upon how much you wager, you will also win money just for getting three or more clocks, and added to this will be the value of each item you select.
