Microgaming to debut blackjack to xBox consoles

If you fancy learning the great game of blackjack but don't really want the risk of losing anything then why not hit the tables for free and brush up on a few skills. Microgaming now give you the chance to do just that with the release of a brand new mobile app which is available on Windows 8.0 and Xbox. The Strategy Coach is more than just playing the game and learning from your mistakes as you get Bronzebeard the pirate at your side giving you hints all the way. The graphics are great and it's a pretty interactive game that makes learning blackjack fun. Bronzebeard will show you when to stick twist, stick, split and double helping you to both enjoy the game and maybe give you the confidence to take a little cash to the tables at one of Microgamings many real money online casinos. Many real money casinos will offer free play modes too, but that's exactly what they are...free play modes, they don't teach you how to play, Bronzebeard does. Microgaming gave the app its first outing at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week and the 3D game with 4 levels of play and over 60 animations went down well. It's available as a free download from the Microsoft Windows Phone Store and will work on both 8.0 and the slightly older 7.0 operating systems. The Xbox and Xbox live versions are set to be with us soon. Neill Whyte, Product Channels Head at Microgaming said, “This is a very exciting development for Microgaming and shows our intent to develop games for all operating systems and platforms, the game is easily accessible through the Microsoft Windows Phone Store and so far the application is receiving very positive reviews online, which is fantastic to see.” It's a great app and does make learning fun and once you have the game in your brain there's nothing like the thrill of hitting the real money tables.
