Online Payment Provider Skrill Launches Loyalty Program

As many of you may already know, Moneybookers is going through a huge branding change and is now known as Skrill. Since becoming Skrill a few nice features have been added, and now through a partnership with Initial Rewards, there's a loyalty program too. Initial Rewards focus on designing and implementing rewards programs for the online gaming industry and as such is pretty much a perfect match for Skrill. The loyalty program will be accessed via the Skrill/Moneybookers site and will offer customers the chance to earn points and then use them to get their hands on branded products and cash bonuses. Joseph Hall, a Skrill Vice President said, "The new store will allow us to offer a unique rewards scheme to all of our VIP customers, giving them incentive to keep using Skrill and building on our differentiation in the wider marketplace." This is all part of a long term effort to reward customer and build loyalty as there's plenty of competition out there now.

Increased Presence in North America

Skrill is huge in Europe and is one of the largest payment solution providers to the online gaming industry and now as more state in the US are legalizing gambling, Skrill naturally wants to be involved there too. With the purchase of Paysafecard which does serve the US market and has some 50,000 distribution outlets in the states Skrill already has some presence there and another effort to enter the market in the States has been made with Neil Steinhardt, MD of Paysafecard USA Inc as the new CEO of Skrill USA Inc. He will be the man responsible for the growth of both products in the US as the use of e-wallets changes. Steinhardt says, "This is an opportunity to work with one of the most forward looking companies in the payment space," This is all good news for those online casino players who already use Skrill, and may tempt even more slots fans to do so as many great casinos welcome Skrill, including All Slots, Club World and InterCasino.
