When the Governor of New Jersey signed the online gambling bill, it was thought that this bold move would generate much needed revenue for the state. And since Atlantic City Casinos were going downhill, it seemed logical that if some of these casinos offered online gambling, it would create a boom. Well it didn’t. Four casinos took the leap and have entered the world of online gambling: Borgata, Golden Nugget, Tropicana, and Caesars. In the weeks to come, there will be a fifth casino that will join the online community – Resorts Casino, the first casino built in Atlantic City. So the adage holds true – “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” It has been reported that ResortsCasino will launch very soon and will be partnered with Sportech NYX Gaming. Resorts will afford players a week of FREE play when it starts its trial run. We’ll keep you posted on Resort’s entry into the online world of gambling.
