Legalizing Casinos in Tennessee

Lawmakers are ruminating whether or not to vote on a bill to legalize gambling in Tennessee. While a study will commence this summer as to the feasibility of this bill, there are those naysayers who do not want this bill to pass. But what else is new. We have seen this pay out time and time again across the nation. However, just as the NY Lottery supports education, to too will the proceeds from gambling in Tennessee go towards education and programs designed to treat this addiction. In fact, the wording in the bill is similar to the Lottery we have in NY. We will keep you apprised of this new bill when it comes up for a vote.
