This is a very difficult question to answer. It all depends on what you are looking for? Do you want the ambience of a high end hotel or the simplicity of a casino that just offers the basics? I have been researching this question for more than 30 minutes, and if you ask 10 people what is the best casino to gamble in Vegas, you will get 10 different answers. However, I did find one common denominator. The Aria Casino came up in the top 5 as one of the top casinos to gamble in Las Vegas. But, other high end casinos in the top 5 came up just as often. For sports betting, for example, Caesars Palace was the best. The Venetian and Mirage were also among the top 5. I stayed at the Flamingo each time I went to Vegas. Do I consider it the best place to gamble? Perhaps, but then I haven’t been to Vegas in years.
What about the Downtown Off the Strip Casinos?
Now here’s where I found a great many similarities. Staying at any of the downtown casinos are not only affordable, but have the highest payout percentages. This is particularly true of the hotels on Fremont Street. In fact, there are approximately eight casinos and three nearby casinos; with the consensus being that the El Cortez Casino is the best casino to gamble at. Another casino that came up frequently is the California Hotel and Casino and finally, without a doubt, the Fremont Hotel & Casino was given high marks.
Choosing Your Casino
Depending on the accommodations, the ambience, the food, the entertainment, and the types of games you want to play; you have a myriad of choices. Staying on the strip or not staying on the strip can make all the difference in your wallet.
