World Trade Organization Under Attack by Antigua/Barbuda

In a stunning announcement, Antigua & Barbuda will commence proceedings against the World Trade Organization on Monday, December 17. The islands are claiming that America has failed to abide by trade rules. We know that Antigua won several cases against the World Trade Organization as it relates to their being granted fair access to the US online gambling market. One of the key rulings also stated that if the US did not comply with agreed upon compensation, that Antigua had the right to collect these funds through other ways. Although Antigua was reluctant to do so, since they have a good relationship with the US, they are nonetheless going forth with new proceedings.
