You cannot say that Tilman Fertitta is a slouch!

He is persistent, he is in the process of putting a casino close to the Texas border. He is known for building very garish neon Ferris wheels in downtown Houston, and attached to it is a restaurant with an aquarium and also rare tigers. He has built a roller coaster that is 200 feet from behind the walls of homes in the Kemah district. He also turned a dilapidated hotel that had a pier that was a fountain into a Coney Island-style amusement park. Mr. Fertitta is a busy man and there is more in store.

The latest venture is into online gaming according to a recent press release, where it was announced that the Golden Nugget will be partnering with Bally Technologies, and they plan to offer online gambling and mobile gaming this coming fall. iGaming will be offered by Golden Nugget in New Jersey and Nevada and more states when they regulate under the Golden Nugget brand.

He said that he believed that online gaming is a multi-billion-dollar industry in the USA, and that he plans to have a major role to play in this lucrative market. He expressed his commitment in the press release by saying that they have hired a seasoned veteran who has an enormous amount of knowledge about this evolving industry, and has matched them up to the Golden Nugget brand.
