Just a week ago, New Jersey became the first state to implement an "exchange wagering license" with Betfair. This means that starting in March of 2016, Monmouth Racetrack can utilize its first exchange wager. Also, there is some good news on the sports betting front. A New Jersey regulator wants racetracks in New Jersey and casinos, both land-based and online, to offer real money sports betting. Currently, there is a ban on sports betting; however, another hearing in the Court of Appeals is in the offing.
