This “welcome” is meant literally as it was just reported that profits fell almost 3% in Las Vegas. And to make matters worse, the Attorney General of Nevada supports Sheldon Adelson’s bid to ban online gambling. Revising the Wire Act, as you may have heard, is the item of the day, and Adelson is hell bent on seeing it through no matter how much he has to pay to get it done. In reaction to the AG’s comment, the Nevada Gaming Board stated that “states should be allowed to regulate gaming as they choose.” Exactly!
