In the regular game, the octopus is the wild symbol and substitutes for all other symbols. It will appear on reels 2 and 4 only.
The Kraken Feature
When the baby octopus appears on reels 2 and 4, the Kraken Feature will be triggered. Here, 12 free spins will be awarded. At the beginning of each free spins, up to 4 octopus symbols can be placed by the giant Kraken on any reel except reel 3. The octopus replaces any symbol except the Moray Eel, which is the wild symbol in the free spins round. During this round, if any octopus symbol does not complete a win, the octopus swims off screen. When a moray eel lands on the screen, any octopus symbol that completes a win then inks itself. Wins containing an inked octopus symbol are multiplied by 2xs. During the Kraken feature, the moral eel will appear on reel 3 only. This symbol substitutes for all symbols, except the octopus. Any win where the moral eel and an inked octopus appear at the same time will yield a 2xs multiplier.
