Johnny Cash Slots

When I read the title of this next slot I'm going to review, I was under the impression this slot might be based around the legendary man in black. The beloved country legend and Ring of Fire singer has nothing to do with this slot. I found that a little disappointing, after all, I've played enough slots to know there are musical-based slots, like slots based around Elvis, like Elvis Frog in Vegas, or slots based around Jimi Hendrix. While no rock legends were involved in the making of this slot, this was still a wonderfully bizarre game from a theme perspective. This game is from the software creators at BGaming. This is a hilarious, high-quality slot.

Themes

This slot is based around cowboys and the Wild West. In fact, listening to Folsom Prison Blues might be a good background soundtrack for you while you spin these slots. The grid is laid against a desert canyon, with cartoonish cliffs and wild cacti growing. There is also tons of gold - after all, the reason anyone even ventured out to the dry, almost unbearable west was because of the promise of gold. Symbols within this board include a bundle of dynamite, liquor bottles, cowboy hats, sheriff badges, two crossed pistols, and a cigar. All of these symbols paint quite a scene, right? This game puts you in a badass, country mood. It's quite twisted and funny, though. The only actual character on the board is a pickle dressed up like a sheriff - I'm serious! Every now and then, a tumbleweed blows by, and the sun has just set. Of course, in the wild west - that means things are going to get dangerous! This pickle has a mustache and two guns - he looks like trouble. Remember, in this game you're the sheriff - and you've got to protect this town from the bad pickle.

Betting Options and Features

This game is set up using five reels and three rows. There are 20 pay lines, and the pay lines are not adjustable. Players can claim up to a thousand times your line bet. This game is a medium variance slot, so your wins will be frequent, but small. There are bigger wins every now and then, too. The RTP for this game, also known as a return-to-player percentage, is listed at 94%. This is a pretty standard RTP compared to other slots within the industry. The top-paying symbol is the money bag, and the wanted poster, which pays out 400 credits for five symbols. The pistols and cowboy hat are tied for next in the value tier and pay 300 coins for five symbols. The last of the high-paying symbols are the liquor bottle and cigar, these vices pay 200 credits for five. The wild symbol is the sheriff symbol and the scatter symbol is the bundle of dynamite.

Features

If you land three, four, or five scatter symbols, you'll launch the bonus spins. Regardless of how many scatters you land, you'll activate ten spins, but the more scatters you activate during the initial free spins will reward you more spins. When the special feature is active, the wild symbols operate differently than they operate during the base game. Rather than the wilds operating as a substitute for other symbols, and disappearing. These symbols become sticky! So if you trigger a winning line using wilds, the wilds will stick and the rest of the board will respin and hopefully form more winning symbols. When the sticky wilds are active on the board, none of the wild symbols will show up on the first reel.
