If you remember the episode in Xena: Warrior Princess, you will remember the deadly battle at Troy. Remember the Trojan Horse? And so we present to you our review of Spartan Warrior Slots. This is an okay game to play, although the card symbols are in Greek style lettering, they just simply take away from the theme of this slot.
About the Game
Spartan Warrior is a 15-line slot with a max coin of 5 at $1 per coin, and a max wager of $75 per spin. Considering the payouts, the max amount seems to be way too high for this game. You can use the lower coin values, however. Set up as all Rival slots are, you have the Auto Play button, the Window and Multiplier Button, and the Pay Table button at the top. On my first spin, I won $125 on a $75 bet.
Playing the Game
The one-page pay table reveals all the symbols in this game. There are, however, four special symbols to take note of: a Spartan Shield, Achilles’ Helmet, a Wild symbol which is two crossed swords, and Ships. The Wild symbol will pay out 5000 if you get all five on the reels.
Bonus Round
When you get three or more Shield symbols, you will trigger the bonus round. I did get to the bonus round and here’s how it plays out. On a second screen you will see the heading Sparta Warrior followed by these instructions: Select your weapons and choose the opponent you want to challenge. Defeat the opponent and earn extra coins. Only Rival can deliver interactive games, and this one is terrific. I chose the Sword and the Shield, and an older warrior and won 1050 coins.
Free Spins Round
When you get three, four or five Helmet symbols, you will win 10, 30 or 100 free spins, respectively. All wins have a 3x multiplier. This round can be retriggered.
Conclusion
This is quite the game to play, perhaps because it is interactive and you can become a participant in the game. The free spins can have significant payouts, especially if you manager to get 100 with a 3xs multiplier. I highly recommend you play Spartan Warrior Slots.
