There is a new slot game just released entitled Around the World Slots. As one who has been half way round the world, I can relate to as well as enjoy playing this game. However, I find that the payouts are not all that great, especially for online players who cannot afford this high stakes game. But you can be the judge. The symbols are not something I would write home about, although there is some animation, i.e., planes flying, ballooning, and compass action. The sound effects can be good at times, and annoying at other times. It’s a very different type of slot and offers some interesting options. The backdrop to this slot machine is filled with monuments that are associated with different countries of the world. According to its description, this slot is “based on Mr. Phileas Fogg’s around the world theme.” I would definitely give it a go, as you may find it to be your favorite cup of tea.
A 5-reel, 20-payline bonus video slot, Around the World has a jackpot of 10,000 coins. The coin denominations range from five cents to ten dollars, with a max bet of $200 per spin. At the top right corner of the slot, you will find a box denoting your credits and exit points. The buttons at the bottom of the slot are displayed in this order: Help/Options, Pay Table (and I would highly recommend you read this before you begin play), Select 20 Lines, Select Lines (although not playing the max amount of lines seems fruitless), Stake Down (another words the lowest coin bets), Stake Up (raise your coin bets), Auto Play, Reverse Play (which is a bit confusing unless you read the pay table), and Play. Next to the Around the World Logo at the top is your Total Win box.
The symbols are fine, but a bit bland. Included are: the Globe, which is the bonus symbol; the Around the World Logo, Mr. Fogg, the airplane, and the Hot Air Balloon are the wild symbols; the compass is the scatter symbol; there is also a boat, train, sailing ship, camel, and elephant.
The Globe symbol is the bonus symbol, and when three or more appear, it will trigger the Around the World Game. Here you can gamble or collect your winnings. If you decide to gamble, a box will appear at the bottom in which you can choose where you would like to go. There are four routes you can take. First click on “Bet” then choose the route of your choice. At this point a second screen will appear and you will most likely start off flying and then ballooning. On the route are coins, collect these coins to earn multipliers up to 4xs. You can easily increase your winnings or, on the other hand, the game will end and you will win nothing. If you do win, the same box will appear again in which you can bet your newly earned winnings and take another route of your choice. Once you click on collect, or collect half, the game ends.
When Mr. Fogg, the first of two wild symbols appears, the line win is doubled. Get all five
Mr. Fogg symbols and the 10,000-coin jackpot is yours. The Around the World Logo is the second wild. Get all five of these symbols to 2 win 5000 coins. Both of these symbols substitute for all other symbols except the scatter symbol and the Globe Bonus and the four wild symbols.
The Compass symbol is the scatter symbol. When you get three or more compass symbols, you will win a multiplier. The needle on the compass will move, and if all point North, you will earn a cumulative win of up to 2xs. Get all five compass symbols and win 32xs your bet.
To be honest, I am not quite sure what this has to do with the price of bread; but I gave it a go anyway. Apparently, when you click on “reverse play” before you hit the play button a payout is awarded when no scatters or other wins occur, thus giving you a win based on each line. Check the pay table to see how it is figured.
I would recommend that all online slot players play Around the World Slots for several reasons. One, it is suitable to high rollers; two, it is very unique in its bonus features; and third, I believe you can make quite a handsome some of money – at least enough to make that trip Around the World.
