Atlantic City Casino Owner Fined for Gambling
Texas billionaire and owner of one of the premier casinos in Atlantic City has been fined $15000 for gambling. Tilman Fertita was fined for playing two different games of Blackjack. Mr. Fertita was not aware of the law in Atlantic City that prohibits owners of casinos gambling at their own and other casinos in the State. Tertita owns the Golden Nugget casino in Atlantic City and it was actually workers at the casino itself that reported he had been gambling, as part of their regular reporting. Tertita complied with the fine and confirmed that now he knows the law, he will not be gambling at his own casinos or other casinos in Atlantic City but he will continue to gamble at casinos in Nevada that do not belong to him.
