I was excited to try out Fortunes of Olympus. I'm a huge fan of slots centered around Olympus as a whole and Greek mythology in general, and boy I was not disappointed with this slot game. These graphics were just stunning, crafted with stylish realism. The artwork could very much work in nearly any role play style game or mythological YouTube compilation video about Zeus or Hercules. Nonetheless, my overarching point is this is a good looking slot machine. The game grid is laid against a very realistic version of Olympus. If you're familiar with Greek myths at all, you'll know Olympus is the home of the gods. This majestic grid is laid against a Greek fantasy of what you might imagine Olympus to look like, with authentic architecture. Oplymus is supposed to exist high above Greece, in the clouds. So there are tons of clouds cascading between the buildings. This game is animated, with moving symbols and lively graphics.

Features

Fortunes of Olympus really shines when you take into account their bonus game, which is triggered when you land three or more scatter symbols along the reel. When this occurs, you'll have the opportunity to play one of three different mini-games, and each of these mini-games offer unique rewards. Some of these rewards include extra wilds, win multipliers and shifting reels. When the wild symbol makes an appearance on the reels, it can operate as a substitute for any other symbol. When you are choosing between the mini games, you can land 12 free games with shifting reels, 12 free games with extra wilds or 12 free games with win multipliers. Your free games are played at the bet amount that triggered the bonus rounds, and cannot be changed. This feature cannot be retriggered.

This game also comes with a Buy Feature where you can purchase a bonus without having to unlock it by landing the right symbol. Obviously, you'll need to increase your bet to purchase this feature, but some players might find it worthwhile. The maximum win per spin obtainable through this game is 50,000x your bet per line, and if you land the maximum win all features cease. Only the highest win on an active pay line will be paid out. If you pick the shifting reels option, after every win the game will re-spin and all reels will shift down one position, which will unveil new prizes and possibly new combinations. The game continues to re-spin, and if you're familiar with respin features you'll find it an excellent option. You could also claim free games with extra wilds, so the game will place 3 to 5 extra wilds on the gameboard while the reels spin. If you choose the win multipliers, the game will randomly select a win multiplier from 2x to 6x for you.
