Five brick and mortar casinos are for sale in Deadwood, South Dakota. The casinos are situated on Main Street, the central area of the well known and historic town. Last year the casinos brought in revenues of over $1.1 million but this year business has declined greatly. One of the main explanations for the decline in revenues is attributed to the resorts that offer a full experience including gaming, entertainment, and comfortable lodging and gourmet restaurants. The mayor of Deadwood believes that the local casinos still have a lot of potential and whoever invests in them should concentrate on their Western flair and historic significance that makes them unique and attractive to all players.
