Delaware is Poised to Award contracts for Online Casinos

The Lottery Office, of Delaware, has intentions to award contracts for the online gambling systems in Delaware by May, 2013, to be ready for target date that is set for online poker which will go live on 30th September, 2013. The proposal requests are for four aspects of online casino operations:

  • The provisions of Backend Technology platform, or for the suppliers of online casino foundation software, this will provide modules for member accounts, network management, management of member accounts, payout systems/cashiering, multi-level reporting and monitoring systems, offers for promotions and services for customer support
  • Developers of Poker Game variations or Vendors of Game Content, this includes the typical casino games, for instance, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, bongo, keno, video lottery games and others casino games
  • Support Services vendors, or third-party companies that will provide expertise in the maintenance of secure and safe online gambling sites, for instance, webhosting sites, payment processors, IP blocking, geo-location tracker, network security providers are some of the aspects covered
  • Operations Management providers namely experienced online gaming operators who are internet based, they will manage the all of the components with regard to the land-based as well as the web-based casino, and they will deal with customer services, handling of payments, implementation and institution of gaming ethics, measures and policies against collusion and fraud, and to put in place systems that ensure responsible gaming.
The companies have already submitted their proposals which include companies that are well placed, for instance Bally Technologies, Amaya Gaming, 888 Holdings, Content 8 Technologies, IGT, Scientific Games, PokerStars, Stan James PLC and SHFL Entertainment.

Its important to note that the evaluation of the Delaware Lottery Office will be the timely manner in which the providers will be able to deliver, implement, install, do pass testing, and go live on the date scheduled and agreed upon, that is on or before the end of 2024.
