Potcoin is a cryptocurrency which is a form of digital currency. While all of the digital currencies, such as Bitcoin, remain popular Potcoin is a new implementation of the Bitcoin protocol launched in 2008. In that year, a Bitcoin paper was published extolling the virtues of Peer to Peer electronic cash. It subsequently revolutionized the world of digital cash. Although Bitcoin was the original cryptocurrency, you can see from the many cryptocurrencies we have highlighted that this form of digital cash has taken root and grown exponentially.
